Gio Marine is a locally owned and operated tropical fish store in Dublin, CA serving the greater Bay Area. Gio Marine was formerly known as SJ Reef which had a prominent standing and a loyal customer base. 

Gio Marine was founded by a local hobbyist, Manish, who was a customer of SJReef long before becoming the owner. Manish is a hobbyist at heart and has gone through ups and downs of setting up multiple saltwater reef tanks himself. This has provided him with great perspective on what the customers are looking for from a local reef store. All the employees who work at Gio Marine are hobbyists themselves with their own saltwater reef tanks at home. Our store manager, Robert is very well known in our customer community and highly regarded for his expertise and empathy for clients. Our motto "For hobbyists by hobbyists" reflects our commitment to our customers.
